Hey, I'm Michael 👋
I’m a Social & Content leader with 10+ years of experience owning social & content strategy, leading ideation, and building scalable content engines to drive business growth. I’ve spent my career at the intersection of brand, culture, content, and commerce, using storytelling to put people and brands at the center of culture.
Most recently, I was the Director of Social & Content at UnitedMasters, where I scaled cross-platform organic social impressions from 500K to 10M+ in a year. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, I led social strategy and execution across organic social channels, oversaw content development for major product launches, and collaborated cross-functionally with teams like Product, Growth, and Business Development to increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
Prior, I was at Genius Media Group, a digital media company bridging music and culture through content and technology, reaching over 100M fans monthly. During my seven year tenure, I played a critical role at the company and was promoted internally six times. I led teams that included everyone from writers to strategists, social media managers, video producers, and creative project managers. As the Head of Branded Content, I led content strategy and execution for all proactive and inbound branded content. We executed best-in-class content for brands like YouTube Music, Acura, HP, Google, and Burberry, featuring artists like H.E.R, Maggie Rogers, Snoh Aalegra, Gunna, Offset, and more.
I am currently working as the business partner for my wife, who is a full-time creator and forthcoming author. I do a little bit of everything; from negotiating brand deals with clients to content strategy, scripting, shooting, and editing video, and more.
